About The Author
Susan B. Iris is an author whose life has been deeply influenced by her early love for reading and music. Discovering the magic of words through children’s literature like Beatrix Potter and Roald Dahl, she also found inspiration in classical music, particularly Tchaikovsky’s War of 1812. Susan began journal writing at 13 and was encouraged to pursue authorship after her teacher praised a short story she wrote at nine. Balancing a career to support herself, she dedicated her evenings and weekends to studying and practicing various writing forms, including fiction and screenplays. Outside of writing, Susan enjoys reading, listening to music, and hardly watches TV but loves films and theatre. She believes in a higher power, enjoys walks with her toy poodle Bentley, and loves cooking traditional Azorean recipes. Born and residing in Toronto, Canada, Susan dreams of adventures surrounded by nature, ideally with a collection of her favorite books.
